Logan Elementary received the Healthier US School Challenge Bronze level award.  The application was completed by the Seaman Food Service Department.  The award recognized schools that work to create healthier school environments for students.  This is done by making sure there are whole grains, 100% juice, different fruits and vegetables each day of the week.  Nutrition education is provided to students, the school has to be enrolled as a Team Nutrition School, and physical education/activity is promoted.
